CEPD meets to discuss continuity and Blind Pass

The Captiva Erosion Prevention District (CEPD) held a special meeting last Wednesday to further discuss their plans for administrative continuity.

Loggerhead babies begin to emerge from island nests

The next phase of sea turtle nesting season is officially here, as the first two hatched loggerhead nests were excavated on both Sanibel and Captiva on June 26.

‘First Mondays’ lecture will tackle EAA purchase

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) will be presenting the second installment of their monthly program, “First Mondays: Policy at SCCF” on Monday, July 7 at 10 a.m.

More than 100 kids turned out bright and early at the Cape Coral Yacht Club last Saturday morning compete in the All-American Fishing Derby, hosted by Cape Coral’s Parks and Recreation Department.
