Zell featured during Hirdie-Girdie reception April 18

On Monday, April 18, Hirdie-Girdie Art Gallery will hold a reception, open to the public, with refreshments from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. featuring the paintings of Peter Zell.

A plein air painter, Zell is well known on Sanibel and Captiva for his landscapes and urban studies that have garnered numerous awards over the past several years. In addition to Zell’s exceptional paintings, also on display will be a diverse collection of Southwest Florida art by fourteen local artists.

Hirdie-Girdie Art Gallery is a cooperative of award winning artists creating original island art including paintings, photographs, baskets, turned wood, jewelry, wood carvings, fused glass, lizzart and pottery.
