Janet Alice Warner, 68, of Sanibel was called home by our Lord God on Good Fricay, April 6, 2012. She is survived by her husband Arthur Warner; sister Carol Hoskins and brother David Linley.

Janet was born June 20, 1943 in Bridgeport, Conn., the daughter of the late Robert and Marie (McKinney) Linley and was predeceased by her sister Roberta Linley. She was an accomplished pianest and in using her talent gave piano lessons to children, youth and adults. She played piano numerous times in church settings and at recitals.

Janet's greatest love was for Jesus. She exhibited an attitude of calmness and control in all of life's circumstances which was obviously made possible by the guidance from her Holy Spirit. She gained many loving friends through her association with Sanibel Community Church, Saint Isabel Catholic Church, First Church of Christ Scientist, Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ and South United Methodist Church, Manchester, Conn.
