Carrie Kerekes, PhD, assistant professor at FGCU's Lutgert School of Business, is the guest speaker for the Sanibel League of Women Voters' annual Hot Topics Luncheon.
Kerekes will address the federal deficit and provide insight into what the presidential candidates didn't talk about: How deep it the hole we are in?

Kerekes received her PhD in Economics from West Virginia University in 2008. Her research interests are in the areas of microeconomics, public economics and economic development. She has published several articles in the Journal of Law and Economics and the Cato Journal.
