Steve Greenstein, executive director at CROW, has submitted his resignation to the board effective March 1.

"We are deeply sorry to see Steve's three-year tenure at CROW come to an end," said CROW board president John Schubert. "he has managed CROW through a challenging period of organizational restructuring, recruitment of a new hospital director, expansion of educational outreach and progress toward financial stability. His clear thinking, positive attitude and leadership will be missed."

Greenstein said he will pursue another career opportunity.

"I am proud to have worked with a dedicated team of staff, students and volunteers that works so hard every day on behalf of the wildlife of our area," said Greenstein. "I deeply appreciate everyone who has helped CROW during the last three years by giving their time, talent and financial support. If our wildlife neighbors could talk they would join me is saying thank you."

Meanwhile, it will seem to be business as usual at CROW.

"We wish Steve all the best in his new endeavors," added Schubert. "Our senior staff, including hospital director Dr. Heather Barron, business director Ava Hinojosa, development director James Robinson, the board of directors and the rest of the CROW team are all committed to maintaining our normal high standards of patient care and educational outreach."
