The Bailey's Center Merchants' Association (BCMA) is looking forward to seeing everyone in green at the fourth annual IrishFest, 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17 at Bailey's Center.
Sanibel residents and guests are invited to celebrate the Irish national holiday with Irish food, green beer, music, dancing and much more.
The Merchants of the Bailey's Center will open their doors to everyone on the island for a festival to include a BIG ARTS Chorus performance; Kellyn Celtic Arts Irish Dance Academy; music and food from Bailey's General store; green beer from George & Wendy's Corner Grill; Irish cream lattes from Coffee Bar at Bailey's; green frozen yogurt from Zebra Frozen Yogurt and much more.
Billy Kirkland, a.k.a. Billy the Leprechaun, of Billy’s Bikes & Rentals zooms around Bailey's Center with a pot full of festive goodies and candy at IrishFest 2011.
The little ones can enjoy a bounce house and Miss Silvia providing her famous face painting at no charge.
Don't have anything green to wear? T-shirts can be purchased before the big day and at the event. Bailey's General Store, Hillgate Communications, and Zebra Frozen Yogurt are selling this year's official IrishFest T-shirts for $10.
The BCMA also invites everyone to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southwest Florida by purchasing shamrocks through the "Shamrocks against Dystrophy" campaign. Gold shamrocks cost $5 and green shamrocks cost $1. You can purchase them one week prior to the event at Bailey's General Store, Bailey's True Value Hardware, Coffee Bar at Baileys, George & Wendy's Corner Grill, Zebra Frozen Yogurt, and Hillgate Communications.
