Greek Fest will celebrate the rich heritage of Greece with authentic homemade Greek food and pastries, live music, carnival rides and dance performances. Live music is provided by Demetrios & The Islanders.
The festival takes place Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 8210 Cypress Lake Dr. Admission is $5 for an all-weekend pass. Children age 11 and under get in free.
There are raffles, including one for a choice of a featured vehicle or $25,000, merchandise vendors and church tours.
A portion of the proceeds from the festival go to Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, Meals On Wheels and Communities Cooperative Ministries Inc.
