Mark "Bird" Westall, founder of The International Osprey Foundation in 1979, is the featured guest speaker for the group's annual meeting at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 24.

Westall will present a short series of videos of ospreys in different parts of the world, including ground-nesting birds off the southern tip of Sinai and Baja California.

He will describe the osprey's life cycle and also discuss the implications of knowing how to speak the bird's language. From his years in the field, Westall has learned to speak "osprey" and will demonstrate with calls and explain their meaning.
