As a way of lending a helping hand to F.I.S.H. of Sanibel, Inc., Zebra Frozen Yogurt recently hosted a Frozen Yogurt Social to help the organization recruit new volunteers. Zebra offered complimentary yogurt and smoothies to all those signing up to become a FISH volunteer. As a result, 14 new volunteers were welcomed to the FISH organization.
Volunteers are the life and blood of FISH. Without them, FISH would be unable to help our island neighbors. There are always opportunities to be involved with FISH. Volunteers can be full or part-time residents, retired or working. Some help in one service area, while others assist in several areas and with various programs.
"We are very excited to welcome these new volunteers to our organization," said Maggi Feiner, FISH Executive Director. "We extend our sincere gratitude to Zebra Frozen Yogurt for organizing this great event."
