Kathy Bridge-Liles has been named Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. She will oversee the hospital's strategic initiatives, manage day-to-day operations, and is responsible for its overall performance.

Bridge-Liles has been with Lee Memorial Health System for 22 years. Most recently she served as interim CAO for the children's hospital. Previously she was the vice president of women's and children's services.

"Throughout her career, Kathy has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has built solid collaborative relationships with physicians, patients and their families, leadership, staff and co-workers," says Larry Antonucci, MD, MBA, and Chief Operating Officer of Lee Memorial Health System. "Not only is she well respected and trusted, but she brings an upbeat and positive outlook that exudes care and compassion for the patients and staff she serves."

Bridge-Liles began working as a Pediatric ICU staff nurse at Lee Memorial over 20 years ago. Throughout her career she has been improving health services for women and children by implementing and improving programs available in Southwest Florida. In addition, she started the State Early Intervention Program in Southwest Florida for children with developmental delays, and opened the Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center, a day care center for children with medical and developmental needs.

She was instrumental in opening the Pediatric ICU at HealthPark Medical Center and its outpatient pediatric oncology program. She is now working closely with the construction management team to design and build the new Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

"I am fortunate to work with people who provide an exceptional experience for our youngest patients and their families. I am also fortunate to be able to do what I love every day and it's an honor to work with this team as we take pediatric care to the next level with construction of the new Golisano Children's Hospital," Bridge-Liles said.
