A 2014, 21-foot Sport Bay NauticStar boat, with a 115 hp Yamaha four-stroke engine with trailer, is being raffled off by Wounded Warrior Anglers in May 2014. The value of the boat is $39,627!

"This is really exciting," said Judy Souders co-founder of Wounded Warrior Anglers. "Raffle tickets for the boat are $20 per ticket or 6 for $100."

The boat is being provided by Chuck Calkins of Fort Myers Marine and NauticStar.

Showing the boat that will be raffled off to benefit the local Wounded Warrior Anglers organization are, from left, David Souders, who donated the craft; Chuck Calkins and Judy Souder, one of the founders of the organization.

"As you can imagine, I get hit up for all kinds of things," Calkins said. "Every day someone comes in here asking for something. But these guys are special and Wounded Warrior Angler's are special. I'm glad I am in a position where I can help out."

Added features for the boat include a stainless steel prop, 7x7 Bow Seat Base, swim platform with ladder, single battery switch and two gunnel rod holders.

The drawing will be held no later than May 26, 2014, between the hours of 5-7:30 p.m., at Olde Fish House, 4530 Pine Island Road, Matlacha. Only 3,000 tickets are available and the winner need not be present to win.

Raffle tickets are available at Old Fish House Marina (Matlacha), Miceli's Restaurant (Matlacha), Spa 33 (Matlacha), Center Bait and Tackle (Bokeelia), Marie's Salon & Barber Shop (Cape Coral), Capt. Rob's Bait and Tackle (Cape Coral), Beef'O'Brady's, 3015 SW Pine Island Rd. (Cape Coral) & Beef'O'Brady's 2481 Del Prado Blvd. North, (Cape Coral) and Ft. Myers Marine (Ft. Myers).

Last year Russell Seitz, a disabled veteran who served in the Army from 1967-70, won the boat. Seitz purchased five boat raffle tickets after his brother-in-law told him about Wounded Warrior Anglers.

All proceeds benefit Wounded Warrior Angler's of America, Inc. A 501(c) (3) Public Charity.

The winner will be responsible for tag, title, delivery, dealer prep, registration and all applicable taxes.

"This wouldn't be possible without Chuck," said David Souders, president of Wounded Warrior Anglers. "He helped us out last year and again this year. Chuck has continued his support with helping our communities Wounded Warriors."
