Noah's Ark, an island thrift shop at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, will host its annual Bag Day event on Aug. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Customers may buy marked bags in the parking lot for $4 each, fill them with store goods and walk away with as many items as the bags will carry. They can purchase as many $4 bags as they wish.

Any items that do not fit in a bag are 80 percent off the regular price.

Deep price reductions are also available in August in the days leading up to Bag Day. The event marks the end of summer season for Noah's Ark, which closes after Aug. 10 for cleaning and any repairs.

The store will reopen on Oct. 2 on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In November, it will resume winter hours, weekdays and the first Saturday of each month - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Noah's Ark does not accept donations between Aug. 10 and Sept. 1.
