The city of Sanibel has released today's report on the beach cleanup and conditions.

At about 9:30 a.m., officials reported that the beach conditions remain similar to Aug. 10. All of the beaches are clear except for Lighthouse Beach, where there was approximately one dead fish every 10 feet to 15 feet. There were three to four dead fish every 20 feet at Blind Pass and Turner Beach Park.

Crews remain deployed collecting beach debris that does wash up and in the canals.

Based upon wind, current and tides, the conditions may be subject to change.
