Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

Ocean Tribe Paddlers, which is affiliated with the Sanibel Sea School, hosts excursions for paddling enthusiasts to enjoy a group paddle, share tips and ideas, and meet new friends to paddle with.

The next one will be held on July 10 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Paddlers will take part in an excursion through the winding canals of the east end of Sanibel, which are rich in local flora and fauna. Start out from the Sanibel Boat Ramp and paddle across a short stretch of the San Carlos Bay to canal entrance.
