Richard Johnson, with Bailey's General Store, and artist Myra Roberts have partnered up to raise money for water organizations that provide education and research on the health and economic issues associated with Florida's water. Roberts has designed two original paintings to support the initiative, which are printed on canvas bags. "Water is Life" captures the importance of water to people's lives and "Pitch In" captures a mermaid picking up plastics from the ocean. Priced at $20 each, the bags can be purchased at Bailey's or online at Profits from the sale will be contributed to the Calusa Waterkeeper and Captains for Clean Water.
