October 31, 2019
Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

At its first meeting of the season, the St. Isabel Women's Guild enjoyed a presentation called "What Makes Us Catholic?" by Dr. Sue Ellen Nolan. The church's coordinator of Catechsis, Nolan's talk focused on the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The guild's 100-plus members are looking forward to the coming season, promising to support the church and community - spiritually and financially - through fellowship with both social and charitable fundraising events. Membership is open to women of the parish. For more information, contact Dottie McGovern 239-481-5950.
